Personal branding for AI founders: how to start from zero
- personal branding
- content
- founder

A personal brand is not vanity; it is distribution you own and do not pay for per click. This is how I started mine from zero, studying what worked for others and adapting it, and how it now feeds the business directly.
Pick one lane and one person
Broad brands are forgettable. Pick a specific thing you do (for me, AI voice agents and real builds) and a specific person you are talking to. Everything you post should make sense to that one person.
Show real work, not opinions
The content that built trust was me building and shipping actual things on camera, not takes. Show the demo, the result, the mistake and the fix. Proof travels; opinions do not.
Post consistently, then turn it into pipeline
Consistency beats intensity. Then convert the attention: link your offer, answer questions publicly, and make it obvious how someone works with you. A brand that never asks for the business is a hobby.
Frequently asked questions
- Do I need a big following to get clients?
- No. A small, specific audience that trusts you converts better than a large, vague one. Clients came before the follower count did.
- What should I post about?
- The real work. Builds, results, mistakes and how you solved them. Show the thing, do not just talk about it.
