Marathi, Hindi and English
Marathi AI voice agent for Maharashtra businesses
A voice agent that answers enquiries, books appointments and follows up in Marathi, Hindi and English, and hands over to your team when a person is needed.
What a Marathi voice agent means in practice
Most customers in Maharashtra do not stay in one language for a whole phone call. A caller in Nashik may open in Marathi, switch to Hindi for a number, and use English words such as appointment, admission or booking without noticing. A voice agent built for one clean language handles that badly. A Marathi voice agent has to be designed around how people in the state actually speak.
RapidXAI builds AI voice agents that answer calls in Marathi, Hindi and English, with the language chosen by the caller and not by a menu. The agent is given a narrow job, such as answering new enquiries or booking a slot, and a clear rule for when a person takes over. We are based in Pune and deliver projects across the state remotely, so there is no branch office in each city and we do not claim one.
What the agent handles
- (01)
Inbound enquiries
The agent picks up when staff are busy or the office is closed, asks what the caller needs, collects the name, number and reason for the call, and passes a clean summary to your team or CRM.
- (02)
Appointment booking
For clinics, classes and service businesses, the agent can offer open slots from your calendar, confirm the choice back to the caller and send a reminder, so the front desk is not the only way to book.
- (03)
Follow-ups and reminders
Calls to people who have already enquired or booked: confirming a visit, asking whether they still want a callback, or rescheduling. These run only for contacts you have an approved basis to call.
- (04)
Routing to a person
Pricing disputes, complaints, medical questions and anything the agent is unsure about go to a human, with the conversation so far attached so the caller does not start again.
Who it suits across Maharashtra
- Clinics and dental practices that lose calls during consultations and need bookings and reminders handled in Marathi.
- Coaching classes and academies that receive a burst of admission enquiries each season and cannot answer every one the same day.
- Real estate teams that need every site-visit enquiry qualified quickly, whether it arrives from an ad, a portal or a hoarding.
- Local retail, showrooms and service shops that take orders, delivery questions and repair status calls.
City notes: Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, Kolhapur, Solapur
Language use changes from one city to the next, so we do not ship one script to all of Maharashtra. These are the patterns we plan for, and each one is confirmed against your own call recordings.
- Pune: higher English and Hindi mixing, so the flow is tested on mixed-language callers from the start.
- Nashik: a strong Marathi base with Hindi for numbers and addresses, common in classes, clinics and trade businesses.
- Nagpur: Hindi and Marathi are both widely used, so the agent follows whichever the caller starts with.
- Kolhapur: regional vocabulary and place names matter, so they are added as known words before launch.
- Solapur: a mix of Marathi, Kannada-influenced speech and Hindi, which is why testing uses your own callers.
How Marathi, Hindi and English code-switching works
- The agent greets the caller in a language you choose, usually Marathi, and then follows the caller. If they answer in Hindi or English, it continues in that language instead of forcing them back.
- Names, phone numbers, dates and amounts are read back for confirmation. This matters more than fluency: a perfectly spoken sentence is useless if the number is wrong.
- Local place names, society names, doctor names and product names are added as vocabulary, because these are where recognition fails first in everyday speech.
- When the caller says a word the agent cannot match, it asks once more in simple words and then offers a human, rather than guessing and writing a wrong record.
Honest limits
- Strong regional accents and fast, overlapping speech reduce accuracy. This is why we test on recordings of your real callers before go-live and not on a studio demo.
- Noisy lines, such as a caller on a busy road or a weak mobile signal, cause misheard words. The agent confirms important details and falls back to a person when confidence is low.
- Some dialect words, mixed idioms and unusual names will be missed on the first pass. We review transcripts after launch and add what the agent got wrong.
- The agent should not give medical, legal or financial advice, and it should not pretend to be a human. It says what it is and what it can do.
- Voice is not always the right channel. If your customers prefer WhatsApp, a chat flow may fit better, and we will say so during discovery.
How implementation runs
- (01)
Discovery
We review how calls reach you today, which questions repeat and where leads are lost. You choose one job for the agent, such as new enquiries or booking.
- (02)
Build
We write the call flow, the Marathi, Hindi and English wording, the handoff rules and the connections to your calendar, CRM or WhatsApp.
- (03)
Test calls
We run clean, noisy, short and unexpected calls, including speakers from your region, and fix what fails before any live traffic.
- (04)
Go-live
The agent starts on a narrow queue or after-hours line. We review transcripts, tune the wording and widen the scope only when the results are stable.

Questions about a Marathi AI voice agent
- Can an AI voice agent really speak Marathi?
- Yes, a Marathi flow can be built and tested. How well it works for your business depends on the vocabulary, accents and call conditions of your own customers, which is why acceptance is based on test calls and not on a demo.
- What if the caller switches between Marathi, Hindi and English?
- The agent is designed to follow the caller. It can continue in the language the caller moves to and keep the same task going. Heavy mixing is tested specifically, and a human fallback covers the cases it cannot follow.
- Which businesses in Maharashtra is this suited to?
- It fits businesses with repeated, predictable calls: clinics, coaching classes, real estate teams, local retail and service businesses. It is a poor fit when most calls are long, emotional or highly unique.
- Do you have an office in my city?
- No. RapidXAI is based in Pune and works with businesses in Nashik, Nagpur, Kolhapur, Solapur and elsewhere remotely. On-site work can be agreed separately if it is needed.
- How does the handoff to a person work?
- You define the triggers, such as a complaint, a pricing question or low recognition confidence. The call is transferred or a callback is booked, and the staff member sees a short summary of the conversation.
- How long does implementation take?
- It depends on the number of call types, the languages and the systems to connect. A single narrow job is much faster than a full front desk. We give a plan after discovery and do not promise a date before that.
- Will callers know they are speaking to an AI?
- Yes. The agent states clearly that it is an automated assistant. We do not design agents that pretend to be a person, and outbound calls follow your consent and calling rules.
- What does it cost and how do we start?
- Pricing is published on the pricing page, and every project starts with a free scoping call where we tell you honestly whether a voice agent is the right fix for your problem.
